Yudanaka Onsen was found by the high priest Gyoki about 1300 years ago. Masuya's baths use 100% fresh onsen water from four hot spring sources, one of which is located in Jigokudani area where famous bathing wild monkeys are seen. Private charted baths are available for couple and family. Communal baths are indoor baths and open-air baths. All of our hot springs are over 1000 years old.
Our Japanese Kaiseki dinner won a Best 100 Hotel award. The dinner course includes Nagano beef steak, shabu-shabu fish, and vegetable dishes. Dinner and breakfast are provided in a dining room. The multi-course kaiseki dishes are delightful and use local fresh ingredients.
